Meet another fantastic #JollyJosh volunteer...

"Having lived in London for years my husband and I decided to move back to the area to have our son. I soon realised that having left my career and friends I now knew no one in the area and although there were lots of baby groups it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be to make new friends. I came across Jolly Josh on Facebook Josh’s story and Carole's vision really resonated with me, having felt so lonely with all the support and groups around I couldn’t imagine what it was like when there was nowhere to turn. The work that Carole and the team do for the families in our community is outstanding and so invaluable. I love organising events and wanted to help out in anyway I could, thankfully Carole and Janine were so open to me joining in and helping with the fundraising committee! I had so much fun with the team organising last years Christmas quiz and so proud of how well it went I can’t wait to get started on the next events, and look forward to seeing the charity get bigger and better! We are extremely thankful to Sarah for the time and effort that she gives to organising, planning and promoting Jolly Josh fundraising events. Sarah is a key figure in planning the Jolly Josh Christmas Quiz, our Anniversary Fun-days and Sarah also helps to fundraise via 'bucket collecting' too. Thank you Sarah for all you do!

Jolly Josh wouldn’t function without our volunteers who support us. We have various volunteers supporting different aspects of our charity, taking into account personal interests and strengths, for example, we have volunteers who support our weekly sessions, volunteer bid writers, in addition, we have volunteers who support the planning and organisation of our fundraising events, such as Sarah.
