Baby Clinic

We had an excellent #stayandplay @JollyJosh #Rochdale this week where we raised awareness of #WorldPrematurityDay with our baby clinic themed activities. Our little ones had great fun bathing and feeding the 'babies' as well as checking their temperatures and bandaging their sore legs and arms. Our mini Doctors and Nurses listened to the babies breathing with stethoscopes and gave injections to babies that needed them!

We would like to thank Danielle, a volunteer from @Spoons, Spoons is a charity that offers neonatal family support and is a charity that has supported many of the families that regularly visit our sessions. Danielle chatted to our parents and carers about their experiences of having their baby born prematurely and also about the fantastic support the charity gives to parents that need their support.

Thanks as always to our little ones and their families for coming and having fun with us this week, please join us next week for our safari themed session on Thursday 21st Nov where we will be joined by Anna who is a #ChildrensComplexCareandPalliativeSpecialistNurse. Anna will be on hand to offer support and advice to families for a range of issues.
